A new Diagnostic, Treatment and Educational Center of the Tajik National University has been commissioned in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. The grand opening was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali, the press service of the head of state reports.
The center was built as part of the implementation of the educational policy of the Leader of the Nation and is timed to coincide with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan. The building with an area of 3,680 square meters is located on a plot of 0.83 hectares in the university campus.
Construction work began in 2023 and was carried out in compliance with modern industry standards by Faizi Javoni LLC. The new complex consists of five floors and a basement, and the adjacent territory of seven thousand square meters is landscaped, paved and greened.
The center houses a 60-seat conference hall, 61 work rooms, as well as specialized medical facilities – X-ray diagnostics, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound diagnostics, dentistry, urology, surgery, anesthesiology, laboratories and a pharmacy.
The classrooms and laboratories are equipped with modern, new-generation equipment, which creates optimal conditions for students to conduct practical classes and provide medical services.
The upper floors house the offices of an allergist, hematologist, gynecologist, otolaryngologist, therapist, neurologist, pediatrician, endocrinologist and ophthalmologist. The center can simultaneously serve up to 300 employees, teachers and students of the university, as well as other visitors.
In addition, the center includes a herbal pharmacy and a laboratory for the preparation of prescription drugs. Eight lecture halls and workrooms are provided for the educational process.
President Emomali Rahmon highly praised the quality of construction and equipment of the center, and gave specific instructions to those responsible for training future specialists in the spirit of the great traditions of the outstanding scientist Abu Ali ibn Sino.
The new Diagnostic, Treatment and Training Center will become an important practical base for the medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and biological faculties of the Tajik National University, which will contribute to improving the level of training of students and the development of healthcare in the country.
