As a result of operational and investigative activities, police officers of the Dangara district detained suspects in committing two thefts – the theft of cattle and components from agricultural machinery, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
A 38-year-old resident of the village of Dangara contacted the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 1 of the Dangara District with a statement that on June 9, 2025, an unknown person secretly stole one head of cattle from a pasture. The damage was estimated at 15 thousand somoni.
During the investigation, police officers established that a 17-year-old minor resident of the Dangara district was involved in the crime and was detained.
In parallel, during other operational activities, a 32-year-old man from the Ayni district was detained, suspected of stealing two front wheels of a Lyugong-835 tractor. This crime was committed on June 5, 2025 at about 23:55, the damage to the owner of the equipment, a 30-year-old local resident, amounted to 10 thousand somoni.
A criminal case has been opened against the detained man under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing, procedural work is underway.
