A training seminar on the prevention of drug addiction, vagrancy and other crimes among teenagers and young people was held at the specialized vocational and technical lyceum of Dushanbe. The event was organized on the initiative of the Republican Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Dynamo" in cooperation with the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.
The seminar was attended by the first deputy chairman of the Republican Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Dynamo", Colonel of the Internal Service Asliddin Shokhiyon, OSCE representative Khaidar Makhmadiev and psychologist of the medical department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Captain of the Internal Service Ayub Bozorov.
In his speech, Colonel Shohiyon emphasized the importance of raising the younger generation based on respect for parents, national values, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. He especially noted that sports strengthen mental health and are a powerful tool for preventing negative phenomena among young people.
Captain of the Internal Service Ayub Bozorov in his report spoke in detail about the influence of psychoactive substances on the mental and psychological state of a person. He noted that drug use leads to social isolation, apathy, destruction of family ties and an increase in conflict situations.
The event also included sports competitions in mini-football, boxing, chess and checkers, in which the lyceum’s pupils took part.
Following the tournament:
In mini-football, the Istiklol team won, the Ravshan team took second place, and Spartak took third place. Aminjon Barotov was recognized as the best forward, Sharif Amirov as the best player, Shukrullo Kakhhorzoda as the best defender, and Ramazon Boltayev as the best goalkeeper.
In the chess tournament, Muhammad Sherov took first place, Mullorajab Odinazoda took second place, and Ardasher Safarov took third place.
In the boxing competition, Manuchehr Nazarov won, Yusuf Sharipov took second place, and Shakhboz Bekboboev took third place.
At the end of the event, the director of the lyceum, Yusufali Rakhmatov, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the OSCE for organizing the seminar and assisting in holding sports events that promote health and awareness among young people.
