Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda held a meeting in Dushanbe with the World Bank Regional Director for Central Asia Tatyana Proskuryakova, who is completing her mission in the region. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Tatyana Proskuryakova for the effective cooperation of the World Bank with the Republic of Tajikistan during her leadership of the regional office.
The parties paid special attention to issues of further strengthening financial and technical cooperation, including in the fields of energy, transport, healthcare, education and agriculture.
“We highly appreciate the support of the World Bank, including in the implementation of priority projects, such as the construction of the Rogun hydroelectric power station,” said Kokhir Rasulzoda.
The parties emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and expanding interaction within the framework of long-term programs for the sustainable development of Tajikistan.
