More than 10 thousand schoolchildren from Dushanbe will be able to spend their summer holidays in holiday camps. This was reported by the Main Education Department of the capital.
According to the approved plan, 50 summer camps for children and teenagers will be organized in Dushanbe from June 12 to August 4. Of these, 46 will be opened at the city's general education institutions, one at the Dushanbe Children and Youth Center, and another at the Center for Support and Development of Talents, subordinate to the Main Education Department.
"This year, the coverage of children's summer holidays has been significantly expanded. Particular attention has been paid to the organization of leisure, cultural, educational and upbringing events aimed at the comprehensive development of schoolchildren," the department noted.
Some schoolchildren will also spend their holidays in the suburban health camps "Sharora" in the Ismoili Somoni district and "Zimchurud" in the Shokhmansur district. 2,298 students will be sent there. Another 7,760 children will be covered by recreation programs in camps at educational institutions.
Each shift in the camps will last 10 days. A total of four shifts are planned. The recreation organizations will involve teachers, educators, as well as specialists in the field of culture and sports.
The administration emphasized that the summer campaign is being conducted with the aim of creating conditions for full-fledged rest, health improvement and development of the capital's students.
