On June 3, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, made a working visit to the Rasht and Tajikabad districts, where he got acquainted with the progress of construction of healthcare facilities. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
During the visit, the Minister inspected the construction sites of a number of medical institutions, in particular Hospital No. 3 and the health center, which are being built in the village of Langari Shokhi in the Tajikabad district. These facilities play an important role in providing the region's population with quality medical services, especially in the context of restoring infrastructure after the recent earthquake, which caused serious damage to the local health care system.
The Minister stressed the importance of ensuring high quality of construction work and strict adherence to established deadlines. Particular attention was paid to equipping facilities with modern medical equipment and necessary consumables.
Abdullozoda reminded the responsible persons and contractors of the instructions and directions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the timely completion of construction and restoration works. He noted that healthcare facilities must meet modern standards and be ready for effective operation immediately after commissioning.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population will continue to monitor the progress of projects in the region, especially in the affected areas, with the aim of promptly restoring and improving the quality of medical care.
