In Dushanbe, the next meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Government of the country Emomali Rahmon, the press service of the head of state reports .
At the beginning of the meeting, a report by the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, was heard on the draft State Program for the Prevention and Control of Oncological Diseases for 2025–2029. As noted, the document is aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and is being implemented within the framework of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan until 2030, in which the fight against cancer is recognized as one of the health priorities.
After a comprehensive discussion, the program and accompanying action plan were approved. Government departments and local authorities were instructed to ensure the implementation of the program and to report annually on the results achieved. The head of state particularly emphasized the need for extensive information work among the population to prevent and detect cancer early.





During the meeting, the following draft laws were also considered and sent to the lower house of parliament for consideration: – "On secondary vocational education"; on amendments and additions to the Customs Code, the law "On state duty", the law "On dehkan (farm) economy".
In addition, the State Program for Providing the Population with Drinking Water and Sanitation for 2025–2029, as well as the Program for the Development of Monumental and Sculptural Art for 2026–2030, were approved.





Particular attention was paid to the Digitalization Program for Agriculture in Tajikistan for 2025–2030. As noted, the program was developed to continue agrarian reform, build resilience to climate change, develop a "green" economy, create favorable conditions for farmers, increase productivity and create new jobs. The President instructed the responsible structures to take measures to implement the program and approve the corresponding action plan.
Following the meeting, Emomali Rahmon gave specific instructions on the effective implementation of previously adopted decisions, expansion of improvements, rational use of arable land and active preparation for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
