Tajikistan and the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov (KBSU) signed an agreement on the implementation of joint projects, TASS reports with reference to the educational institution.
Kabardino-Balkarian State University is expanding international cooperation. An agreement on the implementation of joint projects in the field of academic exchange and scientific research has been signed with Tajikistan.
In Tajikistan, the KBSU delegation presented the educational opportunities of the university. The central event was the signing of a five-year cooperation agreement between KBSU and the Center for International Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan. The document laid the foundation for joint projects in the field of academic exchange and scientific research.
"We strive to make our university attractive to talented youth not only from Russia, but also from other countries. I am sure that this trip will open up new opportunities for hundreds of applicants," noted Albina Vindizheva, Head of the Department for Pre-University Training and Career Guidance at KBSU.
In addition, KBSU representatives held talks with the management of the leading universities of the republic – the Tajik National University and the Russian-Tajik Slavic University. The prospects for cooperation and internships were discussed. Presentations for applicants were also held at the Russian House in Dushanbe and in the Sughd region. High school students and graduates were told about the areas of training, admission conditions and student life at KBSU, and those who wished were tested for knowledge of the Russian language.
More than 2.4 thousand foreigners from 50 countries study at KBSU. This is 12.5% of the total number of students.
