According to specialists, the new department will perform all the main types of maxillofacial surgeries, including cheilorhinoplasty, uranoplasty, tumor removal, plastic and aesthetic interventions on the face and jaws, opening of abscesses and phlegmons, bone grafting, osteosynthesis after bone fractures, as well as cystectomy and cystotomy.
The creation of a new department will significantly improve the availability and quality of specialized medical care for residents of the southern region of Tajikistan.
Let us recall that the new building of the Khatlon region dental center was opened on October 27, 2021, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The center includes outpatient, surgical, therapeutic and orthopedic departments, as well as departments for children and adolescents.
