On May 14, the cities of Shenyang (Liaoning Province, Northeast China) and Hefei (Anhui Province, East China) hosted the launch of a large-scale multimedia project, “China on the Move-2025,” organized by the People’s Daily website. The project aims to explore China’s path of high-quality development, People’s Daily reports.
Northeast China is the cradle of New China industry. Today, the region is undergoing a transformation of traditional industries aimed at raising their technological level, introducing intelligent solutions and greening production.
At one of the plants of pharmaceutical company Northeast Pharm, rows of ampoules move along a fully automated intelligent production line. After reducing the number of operators, production capacity and efficiency increased by more than 30%.



Zhang Tao, director of the BMW Brilliance plant in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, said that this model plant of the BMW concern uses 100% "green" electricity, and industrial water is completely recycled.
Yunfeilu Street in Hefei, Anhui Province, is widely known as "Quantum Alley." It is home to more than 30 leading quantum technology enterprises covering three key areas: quantum computing, quantum communication and quantum measurement, forming the country's most developed quantum industry ecosystem.
Hefei is home to about a third of China's quantum industry enterprises. The total number of companies in the city's upstream and downstream quantum industrial chain exceeds 70, the highest in the country.
According to a representative of China Telecom Quantum in Hefei, their quantum chip "Xiaohong" has 504 qubits, which is a new national record for superconducting qubits. The quantum computer equipped with the "Xiaohong" chip has already served users in more than 50 countries, and the number of requests to the platform has exceeded 27 million.
