"We can also restrict leaving the house at night. Currently, administrative supervision is in effect and is applied to such persons, but previously it was limited to an eight-year term. Now it is planned to significantly extend its effect," the police officer noted.
Such measures are aimed at improving the safety of children and preventing repeat crimes against minors.
Earlier, a mailing about the search for two pedophiles appeared on the Internet. The police department of the Mangistau region reported that the said persons were supposed to report to the police every 10 days, but did not do so within the established period.
