A meeting was held in Dushanbe between the Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Reshaidon. This was reported on Tuesday by the press service of the Tajik department.
During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of investment and state property management. The main focus was on the prospects for expanding cooperation in the framework of joint investment projects and attracting Saudi investments in key sectors of the Tajik economy.




As Sulton Rahimzoda emphasized, Tajikistan attaches particular importance to deepening economic and investment cooperation with Saudi Arabia, noting the presence of significant potential in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture and tourism.
In turn, Walid ibn Abdulrahman Al-Reshaidon expressed the Kingdom’s readiness to consider new areas of cooperation and facilitate the involvement of Saudi Arabian business circles in studying investment opportunities in Tajikistan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue constructive dialogue with the aim of strengthening partnerships and implementing joint initiatives.
