A single portal of public services HUKUMAT.TJ has started operating in Tajikistan. This was reported by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies of the Republic.
The platform was developed on the initiative of the agency and is aimed at simplifying citizens' access to government services. As noted by the agency, at the first stage, users will have access to 11 types of services in electronic format.
In particular, through the portal you can apply for a power of attorney to drive a vehicle, obtain permission to use tinted windows, obtain a certificate of no criminal record, register the date of a wedding or funeral, and use a number of other services.
Currently, the portal unites 56 websites of government agencies, with 22 of which agreements have been concluded on the complete transition to the provision of services exclusively through a single platform.
The Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies emphasized that the launch of the portal is the next step in the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Electronic Government, approved in Tajikistan in December 2011. However, despite the measures taken, a significant portion of government agencies have still not implemented full-fledged electronic forms of service provision.
It is expected that the development of the HUKUMAT.TJ platform will significantly reduce bureaucratic procedures and increase the availability of government services for citizens and businesses.
