In the Republic of Tajikistan, all official websites of government agencies will be gradually transferred to a single digital portal HUKUMAT.TJ (EGOV.TJ). This was reported by NIAT "Khovar" with reference to the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The creation of a single digital platform is aimed at implementing state policy in the field of digitalization, improving the quality of public services provided and improving the work of government bodies. The platform was developed at the initiative of the Agency and currently unites 56 websites of government agencies, with 22 of which agreements on a full transition to the portal have been signed in 2025.
As noted by the senior specialist of the Department of Regulation of Electronic Government of the Agency Farzona Bobozoda, the project is being implemented within the framework of the Concept of Formation of Electronic Government, approved by the resolution of December 30, 2011. The concept provides for the digital transformation of government services, increasing the availability, transparency and efficiency of government services, as well as reducing the administrative burden on citizens and organizations.
According to the Government Resolution of March 2, 2023, a list of public services subject to mandatory automation has been determined. Today, citizens have access to 11 types of electronic services through the portal, including: issuing a power of attorney to drive a vehicle; obtaining permission to use tinted windows; a certificate of no criminal record; registration of weddings and funeral ceremonies; registration of excise stamps and other popular services.
The Agency also announced the imminent opening of a Public Services Center in Dushanbe, which will assist citizens in using digital services. In the future, similar centers will open in other cities and regions of the republic.
Earlier, during the inspection of 72 websites of local authorities and 57 websites of central departments, the Civil Service Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan identified numerous inconsistencies. It was established that most resources do not meet basic requirements for content and updating, and publications on personnel competitions are practically absent. Several websites were inactive.
The transition to the centralized platform HUKUMAT.TJ is intended to eliminate these shortcomings, ensure a single standard of digital interaction between the state and citizens, and increase the transparency and openness of government agencies.
