The representative office of the Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of Germany has begun work in Dushanbe at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan. This was reported by NIAT "Khovar".
The ceremonial signing of the agreement on opening the representative office took place within the framework of the Tajik-German business forum. Representatives of 18 German companies took part in its work, expressing interest in developing cooperation with Tajik partners.
As noted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, the opening of the Association's office creates conditions for direct interaction between entrepreneurs of the two countries without the participation of intermediaries. It is expected that the new structure will contribute to strengthening business ties, increasing mutual trade, attracting investment, and expanding access of Tajik companies to consulting, training and financial resources.
According to the head of the Association for Central Asia, the founder of the Janser group of companies, Sergey Serebryansky, the organization currently unites over a million companies in Germany and over three million across Europe. The office in Dushanbe became the 93rd in the international network. The priority areas of cooperation include the agro-industrial complex, construction and supply of building materials.
