Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshedai Kodir held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Tajikistan with residence in the Republic of Kazakhstan Dorjiin Bayarkhuu on May 7. As reported by the press service of the committee, the parties discussed organizational issues of preparation for the upcoming investment forum between Tajikistan and Mongolia.


According to the department, the key focus of the meeting was on expanding bilateral cooperation in such promising areas as energy, development of transport and logistics infrastructure, and trade. The participants emphasized that both countries have significant potential in these areas and express interest in deepening business ties.
“Holding an investment forum will give new impetus to economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Mongolia, and will also create favorable conditions for the active participation of representatives of the private sector and international partners,” the committee noted.
Khurshedai Kodir and Dorjiin Bayarkhuu expressed confidence that the upcoming forum will be an important step in strengthening bilateral investment cooperation and will help attract foreign direct investment to the economies of both countries.
