As reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, as a result of the attack, damage was recorded in Svyatoshinsky, Solomensky and Dniprovsky districts. Seven people were injured, including four children.
However, the State Emergency Service stated that as a result of enemy strikes on Kiev on the night of May 7, two people were killed and five were injured, including four children.
In Svyatoshinsky district, debris hit a 9-story residential building. Fire broke out in apartments on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th floors. The fire was extinguished on an area of 100 sq. m.
5 people were rescued – 1 adult and 4 children (3 children with burns were hospitalized). Rescue work continues.

In the Solomensky district, the wreckage of a UAV fell into an open area.
A drone crashed onto a multi-story residential building in the Dniprovsky district. Partial destruction of the ceiling on the 29th and 30th floors. There is no fire or casualties.
In Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV wreckage fell on a 5-story residential building. Fire in apartments on the 3rd and 5th floors. During extinguishing, the bodies of 2 people were found. The fire has been extinguished.
Updated at 7:13. Klitschko clarified that the number of victims in the capital has increased to 8. Another woman has been hospitalized. Three children were hospitalized before. Thus, four victims have been hospitalized. Four were treated by doctors on the spot.
"Two residents of the capital died as a result of the enemy attack," the mayor added.
