In Penjikent, reconstruction of the Kamoli Khujandi cultural and entertainment park, which is located on the picturesque bank of the Zarafshon River, has begun. The park restoration project is being implemented with the support of local authorities and businessman Alisher Bozorov, who is acting as an investor, the city administration reports.
During a recent visit to the park, the Chairman of the City of Penjikent, Abdukholik Kholikzoda, noted that work on renovating the park has already begun with the renovation of the surrounding area near the Youth Lake. New walking paths covered with fine sand will be created here, and a sports ground is also being built, which will be completed in the near future.

The reconstruction project includes the installation of elements such as a replica of the Eiffel Tower, fountains, recreation areas with cafes and playgrounds for children, an amphitheater, illuminated paths, as well as alleys and memorial plaques dedicated to the participants of World War II.
After the reconstruction is completed, the park will become an important cultural and entertainment center for city residents, tourists and guests of Penjikent, providing a place for cultural events, recreation and enjoying nature.
