Somon Air, in partnership with ANTARES LLC (FLY.TJ), announced the launch of a direct flight on the Dushanbe-Sharm el-Sheikh route. According to the carrier's press service, the first flight will take place on May 11. Flights will be operated weekly, on Sundays, on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
The flight to the Egyptian resort will take 5 hours 30 minutes, and the return flight will take 5 hours. The company noted that the opening of the route will be a significant step in the development of tourism and business ties between Tajikistan and Egypt.
