In the Hamadoni district of Khatlon region, work has begun on major repairs of 12 kilometers of the road passing through the rural jamoat named after Saidkul Turdiev. The project is being implemented as part of preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the chairman of the executive committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan for the district, Kabirzoda Jomi, the initiative is being implemented with the support of the executive body of state power of the district and the active participation of the local population.



According to the information provided, in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the Khatlon Region Davlatali Said, residents collected two million somoni. The collected funds were used to implement a project of great socio-economic importance for the region.
As of today, the road surface leveling work has been completed. Asphalt paving of the road will begin in the near future. Specialized equipment from the State Institution for the Maintenance of District Highways, as well as qualified engineers and workers, have been brought in to perform the work.
As noted by local authorities, the section of the road being repaired had been in poor condition for many years, which created difficulties for residents to move around. After the asphalting is completed, transport links between settlements will improve significantly.
