In order to improve the quality of medical services to the population and monitor the progress of construction and improvement works in healthcare institutions, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukholik Amirzoda visited the Rasht and Tajikabad districts on a working visit.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health, as part of the visit to the village of Zarangak, Hijborak jamoat, Rasht district, a ceremony was held to begin the construction of a medical center for residents affected by the natural disaster. The construction is being carried out with the support of local authorities and the public and is aimed at increasing the availability of primary health care.




In addition, construction work has begun at a number of other healthcare facilities: in particular, at the Langari Shokh Regional Hospital and the Health Center of the same district, as well as at the medical center in the Dehoti Gulmon jamoat of the Tajikabad district.
During the inspection of construction sites, Abdukholik Amirzoda drew the attention of responsible persons to the need for strict compliance with design requirements, ensuring high quality of work performed and timely completion of construction. Following the visit, he gave specific instructions and orders to the relevant structures.



It is expected that after the commissioning of the facilities, access to medical services for the population of remote areas will significantly improve, which will be an important step in the implementation of state policy in the field of health care.
