Employees of the Department of Internal Affairs No. 2 of the Shokhmansur district of Dushanbe city revealed three cases of illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco products to minors during a targeted preventive inspection. This was reported by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe.
According to the department, citizens Gulova Mamlakat, Mirzoev Umarali and Azimova Dilafruz, who worked as salespeople in various retail outlets in the capital, were found guilty of the offense. It was established that they, in gross violation of the requirements of the current legislation, sold alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to persons under 18 years of age.


Administrative protocols were drawn up against the said persons under Part 2 of Article 463 ("Sale of alcoholic beverages to minors") and Article 464 ("Sale of tobacco products to minors") of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. By decision of the authorized bodies, administrative fines were imposed on the violators.
The Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs emphasized that such preventive measures will be carried out on an ongoing basis in order to prevent such offenses and protect the rights of minors.
