The issue of experience in measuring work in the field of using the radio frequency spectrum in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the exchange of experience in the field of radio monitoring was discussed on May 1 during a meeting of representatives of the Communications Service of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Unitary Enterprise "Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility" of the Republic of Uzbekistan, NIAT "Khovar" reports with reference to the Tajik department.
The meeting discussed the organization of radio monitoring systems, types of technical means and study of devices used in measurement work, organization of radio monitoring activities in border areas, personnel policy and advanced training of specialists, legislation and international cooperation in this area.
Appropriate measures are being taken to assess the electromagnetic environment in the border regions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and a favorable basis is being created for the exchange of experience between specialists from the parties in measurement work in the field of communications.
The parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of radio frequency spectrum use and issues of interest to both parties.
